Lisa Kelly

Lisa Kelly has been singing and dancing for most of her life. Her early vocal training was primarily classical and she continues to incorporate this solid technical foundation while teaching each of her students, at the serious and recreational level. As she entered her late teens she found a passion for Broadway/Musical Theatre. As a result she performed in various musicals, including Hello Dolly, Gypsy, Kiss Me Kate and Sound of Music with Royal City Musical Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars and Gateway Theatre. Her last onstage Performance was as Florence in Chess with Applause! Musicals in Concert. She has since married and focused on teaching and raising her three children.

Lisa began her teaching career with K&S Dance during the 2001/2002 dance season. Her group routines and soloists have consistently achieved high score awards and placements in final championships, competed at the Provincial Level and been chosen to perform at various Honours Performances.

With the increasing popularity of musical theatre and the obvious performance growth of the dancers year to year, Lisa is so happy that her passion for the arts is being passed on to her students.
