Danielle Harvey
Danielle has danced most of her life and started right here at K&S training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. She has trained up to the R.A.D. Intermediate level in ballet and completed Grade 8 tap in the Al Gilbert Syllabus. During her years as a student, she also participated in the student teaching program and assisted with teaching choreography to the May Day Flower Girls, Princesses and Lancers for four years. She also taught jazz and hip hop classes to young children at Hyde Creek Recreational Centre for four years with the K&S Dance Sampler Program through the City of Port Coquitlam.
Danielle started teaching at K&S in 2009 and is now the head of our Preschool Program. Her groups have consistently placed and received choreography awards at local dance festivals and competitions. For the past four years, Danielle has also led the K&S hip hop programs for various schools throughout District 43. Along with this extremely busy teaching career, Danielle is attending Simon Fraser University full-time with the goal of obtaining her teaching degree.
