Sara Loski’s love for dance began when she was born. She started her dance training at age three and then at age 12, she made the move to further her training at K&S Dance where she did R.A.D. ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, hip hop, and stage. Sara’s love for entertainment was very apparent every time she set foot on stage. Sara trained with K&S until she graduated high school, where she then began studying Business Administration and Mathematics at Simon Fraser University. As well as pursuing her post secondary education, Sara continued to dance at Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver and started teaching at K&S Dance. She also took time to travel to L.A. and New York to further her training in all styles of dance. From 2011 to 2013, Sara was a part of The Source, a professional dance company based out of Harbour Dance Centre. During her time with the Source, Sara learned from choreographers that came from all over North America. She was also given several opportunities to perform in different dance shows throughout Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast, and Kelowna.
During the Summer of 2014, Sara became a Yoga instructor after completing her 200 hour yoga teacher certificate in Calgary, Alberta. During this intense training, she learned a lot about alignment and helping people understand their bodies. She believes that her yoga knowledge will help her grow as a dance teacher. Sara loves being a part of K&S Dance and is excited for the 2014-2015 season! Sara strives to help her students find their love for dance in every class she teaches. This is also Sara’s last year at Simon Fraser University, where she will graduate with a degree in Finance and Mathematics. Sara is excited for what the future will bring her way.
