BALLET (R.A.D. & OPEN)

Ballet is the foundation of all dance which is why we recommend that all of our students start at an early age and stay with it for the duration of their training, regardless of the genre they wish to focus on. The fundamentals of ballet are necessary to create strong and dynamic dancers. The necessity of at least one weekly ballet class is strongly emphasized. This builds up to five classes per week for our serious competitive students and any dancers interested in developing their talent and performing skills.

We offer training in the in Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) Syllabus. Our students prepare for the optional examinations. This syllabus provides a nice foundation and promotes dedication and discipline.

In addition to our RAD Classes, we also include Open Classes starting with our pre-teen dancers ages 10 and up. These classes provide further education in ballet technique to expand the dancers knowledge and repertoire outside that of the RAD Syllabus.
